We are so incredibly thankful to the Moulton-Udell SCPC for their generous donation of technology, and historical books to the Moulton-Udell Elementary Library! 📚✨
This thoughtful gift is such a blessing to our students. These books will open doors to new ideas, spark curiosity, and give our children the opportunity to explore everything from how things work to the stories that shaped our world. It’s amazing to see resources like this placed into their hands—encouraging learning, creativity, and a love for discovery.
Because of this donation, our students will be able to grow in knowledge, build new skills, and dream even bigger dreams for their futures. We truly appreciate the investment you’ve made in their education and in our community.
Thank you again, Moulton-Udell SCPC, for your generosity and for being such a blessing to our elementary library and our children! 💙

We are incredibly proud of both of you for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to reading. Keep turning those pages and reaching for new adventures—this is just the beginning! 🌟👏

Layton finished her April reading log and we couldn’t be more proud! 📚✨
Way to go, Layton—your hard work and love for reading are shining bright! Keep it up, superstar! 🌟🌸❤️🩵

Story time was full of smiles, giggles, and a little bit of messy magic today! 📚🎨
We dove into The Pout-Pout Fish and followed along as our grumpy little fish learned that he doesn’t have to stay gloomy forever. The kids loved the silly rhymes and quickly picked up on the big lesson—that our feelings can change, and kindness (and maybe a little encouragement!) can turn a bad day around.
After our story, we brought those fish to life with finger painting! 🐟 The kids explored colors, textures, and creativity as they made their own bright, happy fish. There were lots of squishy fingers, colorful masterpieces, and proud little smiles.
Today wasn’t just fun—it was full of learning too! The kids practiced listening skills, expressing emotions, using their imagination, and strengthening fine motor skills through painting.
Safe to say… story time + finger paint = a whole lot of joy! 💙

🎉📚 We have our FIRST April Reading Log turned in!!! 📚🎉
A big, exciting congratulations to our very first student who completed her April reading log and got it signed by her parents! 👏✨ That’s what dedication and responsibility look like!

This week in elementary story time was full of imagination, creativity, and fun! 📚✨
Our students enjoyed reading The Napping House, a delightful story that had everyone laughing and engaged as the characters piled up for a cozy nap. The children loved predicting what would happen next, recognizing patterns, and joining in on the repeating phrases throughout the story. Through our discussions, they practiced listening skills, sequencing events, and understanding cause and effect as the quiet house slowly turned into a noisy, wakeful one!
To go along with our reading, we explored art by watercoloring beautiful rainy day and sunny day pictures. 🎨☀️🌧️ As we talked together during painting time, students shared ideas, described their artwork, and learned how to express their thoughts and feelings. Watercolor painting also helped them develop fine motor skills, patience, and creativity as they experimented with blending colors and creating different effects.
This week was a wonderful combination of storytelling, conversation, and hands-on learning. The kids truly enjoyed every moment, and it was so special to see their confidence grow as they learned through both reading and art! 💛
