FREE Summer Meals! From June 2–Aug 11, the Moulton-Udell School offers free 7-day take-home breakfast & lunch packs for kids 18 & under. Pickup is Tuesdays, 4–6 PM. Families must sign up weekly by scanning the flyer’s QR code!

6th graders enjoyed ice cream from T&L on our last day of school.

2nd Annual Tailgate the Last Day of School!!! The kids have started a fun tradition.








What a nice day for a walk uptown with our 5th graders! We enjoyed complimentary ice cream cones from T & L. Thank you Linda!

The 5th and 6th grade classes went on our field trip to Des Moines yesterday. We visited Terrace Hill and the Iowa State Capitol. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. All of our tour guides were very knowledgeable and complimented us on how great a group of kids we had!








Miss Deahl’s Animal Production Class just finished up learning about common surgical techniques in livestock!💉🐷 they were able to practice castrating, tail docking, lancing, teeth clipping, and injections! It was a super fun class!










6th graders have recently studied Ancient Rome. They were tasked with creating an aqueduct that would use gravity to flow into 3 separate containers. Two groups completed their project successfully.

Miss Deahl’s AFNR class recently wrapped up a unit on injection methods in livestock!💉🐮
Today, they were able to put their knowledge to the test and practice giving intramuscular, intravenous, and subcutaneous injections, and learn about needle safety! The used a sponge (muscle), felt (hair/skin), and a straw filled with red dye (vein/blood) to practice intravenous and intramuscular, used a banana to practice intramuscular, and an orange to practice subcutaneous!

The Class of 2026 are having a great time on their Senior Class trip! We have been to The Royal Gorge and the summit of Pikes Peak via the Cog Railroad. We drove through Garden of the Gods and walked the sidewalks of Cripple Creek. Hiked some of the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and the first day in CO we had lunch at Casa Bonita in Denver. We are enjoying the 40 acres of our wonderful Airbnb at 9,00 ft above sea level. We are looking forward to our last day tomorrow at Mt Princeton Hot Springs!









Moulton-Udell High School students doing their civic duty and good deed for the day by placing flags on veterans' graves at two cemeteries north of town on May 11th .
