📚✨ Moulton-Udell Elementary Library Shout-Out! ✨📚 We are SO proud of our amazing students—Preschool through 6th grade—who completed their Thanksgiving Break Reading Log! 🍂🦃 These hardworking readers took on the challenge to read 11 books OR 11 chapters in a chapter book over break… and they did it! 🙌📖 Today, they were honored and recognized by the Moulton-Udell Elementary Library, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their dedication, imagination, and love for reading. 🎉 Watching our students grow, learn, and fall in love with books is one of the greatest joys—and their commitment over break showed just how bright their futures are! 🌟 Way to go, readers! Keep reaching, keep exploring, and keep turning those pages! 💙✨📚

❄️☃️ Snow Day Fun! ☃️❄️ Miss Hawk and Ms. Lawson’s classes made the most of our beautiful snow day with their best buddies! From building mini snowmen to making snowy angels and sharing lots of giggles, our students turned the playground into a winter wonderland. The cold didn’t stop the fun—just made the memories even sweeter. ❄️💙 We love seeing our students play, laugh, and enjoy these magical moments together!

📚🦃 THANKSGIVING READING CHALLENGE! 🦃📚 Get ready, readers — it’s time for our Turkey-tastic Thanksgiving Challenge! 🍁 Over Thanksgiving break, we’re inviting all our awesome students to read 11 books OR 11 chapters of their choice. Each time they finish one, they get to write the title on a turkey feather and color it in! 🎨🦃 When your turkey is fully feathered and fabulous, bring it back to school on December 1st! We can’t wait to see those colorful, creative, book-loving turkeys! 🧡💛 ✨ And here’s the best part: All students Preschool through 6th grade who complete the challenge will receive a special prize! 🎁🙌 Let’s make this Thanksgiving break full of fun, imagination, and great stories. The M-U Government classes would like to thank M-U Eagle Alumni Riley Tracy for his recent visit! Riley shared insights and experiences from his time working as a page at the Iowa State Capitol.

Last week, Mark Mendick (school board member) came to the 7th grade Exploratory Ag Class to teach them about the laser engraver! He gave them a bit of background knowledge on the technology behind the engraver, showed them the program that is used to design what you want to engrave, and then the kids got to see it in action and take home some awesome Moulton-Udell wooden keychains! Thank you Mark for stopping in, we are excited for your future visits!

Career Day on Nov 14 was inspirational! Students explored careers in small group sessions, gaining insights and asking great questions. A special thank you to our presenters that were willing to share their journeys! It was a rewarding day for the next generation.

What an incredible day of learning and inspiration for our students last Friday, November 14th!
Students got a firsthand look at various careers through small group sessions. They asked great questions and gained valuable insights into different professional journeys!
We also welcomed 7 of our alumni back into the building! It was so rewarding to see them share their experiences and advice with the next generation. Thank you to all our presenters for making this day a huge success!
