Deck the halls at M-U Elementary!

Story time with Mrs. Croteau!

Shoutout to the Appanoose County Sheriff's Office! Thank you for bringing gifts to K-3 students. We appreciate your leadership and service to the community. Merry Christmas!

Congratulations M-U students, Ms. Durley and Mrs. Avery for a wonderful Christmas Concert!

Our PK-12 Winter Concert is happening this Thursday, and we are looking forward to a wonderful evening of music! In conjunction with the event, the Music Boosters will be hosting a bake sale to support our student programs. If you are able to contribute, please bring a baked item that is "packaged to sell" and drop it off at the school office by 5:30 PM on Thursday. For those who are unable to attend the concert in person, you can still support our performers by watching the livestream on our Hudl Fan page.

State Representative Austin Harris visited Moulton-Udell 4th grade today. The most recent reading unit throughout the elementary was a Government theme so 2nd grade joined in on the presentation. Thank you, Austin, for helping students understand what could be a difficult topic to comprehend.

Snow-buddies forever❄️☃️💙.

📚❄️ Christmas Break Reading Fun! ❄️📚
Looking for something fun and encouraging for your child to do over Christmas break? We’ve got just the thing!
While you’re enjoying your holiday break, have fun while reading by completing the Reading Activity Board. Simply follow the directions in each square and place an X when it’s completed. Keep going until the entire board is filled—you can do it!
✨ Once finished, return the completed board to Mrs. Croteau at the Moulton-Udell Elementary Library on January 5 to receive a small prize as a celebration of your hard work and love for reading!
🖊️ Please remember:
A parent, guardian, or adult in the home must sign the board before it is turned in.
We are so proud of our students for continuing to read, learn, and grow—even during the holidays. Let’s make reading part of the Christmas fun! 🎄📖
Happy Reading & Merry Christmas!

Tickets will still be good for the new date. We will provide details as we receive them.

Moulton-Udell Community School District will be closed on Tuesday, December 9, and Wednesday, December 10, due to an extremely high percentage of students and staff out with illness.
We will use this time to fully sanitize our facilities and provide a needed health reset for our students, staff, and families.
All athletic events scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, December 9, are cancelled.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep our school community healthy.

📚✨ Moulton-Udell Elementary Library Shout-Out! ✨📚
We are SO proud of our amazing students—Preschool through 6th grade—who completed their Thanksgiving Break Reading Log! 🍂🦃
These hardworking readers took on the challenge to read 11 books OR 11 chapters in a chapter book over break… and they did it! 🙌📖
Today, they were honored and recognized by the Moulton-Udell Elementary Library, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate their dedication, imagination, and love for reading. 🎉
Watching our students grow, learn, and fall in love with books is one of the greatest joys—and their commitment over break showed just how bright their futures are! 🌟
Way to go, readers! Keep reaching, keep exploring, and keep turning those pages! 💙✨📚

❄️☃️ Snow Day Fun! ☃️❄️ Miss Hawk and Ms. Lawson’s classes made the most of our beautiful snow day with their best buddies! From building mini snowmen to making snowy angels and sharing lots of giggles, our students turned the playground into a winter wonderland. The cold didn’t stop the fun—just made the memories even sweeter. ❄️💙 We love seeing our students play, laugh, and enjoy these magical moments together!

Come support the Moulton-Udell sophomore class! They will be serving hot cocoa and baked goods for a free-will donation during the home game Thursday!
