Who at Moulton-Udell are you thankful for?
Miss Hawk’s third grade class had an unforgettable experience today! 🚁✨ Students had the opportunity to watch a paramedic helicopter land right behind our school. The excitement was sky-high as they gathered to see it touch down safely and hear from the medical crew. Our third graders asked thoughtful questions, learned about the paramedics’ important work, and even got to see the helicopter up close. It was an incredible hands-on learning moment that connected science, community safety, and real-world careers. A huge thank-you to the paramedic team for giving our students such a memorable experience! 💛📚

Did you know that 14 of our current faculty & staff members are Moulton-Udell alumni?

This is a testament to the M-U experience over the decades & evidence of our mission in action!

Our mission is to develop students into responsible, self-respecting, productive adult community members. We believe all students are capable of learning and all staff can contribute to this end.

🍁🍂 Fall Fun in First Grade Story time!🍂🍁 Today we had a leaf-tastic time when Hannah Wiltamuth from the Appanoose County Conservation Center joined our first graders for story time in the library! She taught us all about leaves—their shapes, colors, and the amazing trees they come from. 🌳 Then the kids got creative with leaf rubbings, making beautiful fall art that showed off every vein and pattern. 🎨✨ There was laughter, learning, and a whole lot of excitement—because nothing says autumn fun like a library full of happy kids and crunchy leaves! 🍁😁 #FallFun #FirstGradeAdventures #AppanooseCountyConservation #LeafRubbings #LearningIsFun

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Miss Hawk’s third grade class had a wonderful time learning about Veterans and their importance! We talked about how Veterans serve and protect our country and why it’s so important to honor them. To celebrate, our class created a special red, white, and blue Veterans Day craft to show our appreciation. Thank you to all who have served — we are so grateful for you! 🇺🇸✨

At Moulton-Udell Junior-Senior High, our student-to-teacher ratio is 6:1!

Did you know that a low student-to-teacher ratio is one of the biggest benefits of a smaller school? It's not just a number—it's the key to personalized learning.

With fewer students in the classroom, your child gets:

🎯 Individualized Attention: Teachers can pinpoint specific strengths and weaknesses to tailor instruction just for your student.

🗣️ More Confidence: Students feel safer and more comfortable participating, asking questions, and speaking up.

🤝 Deeper Relationships: Stronger bonds with teachers mean better mentorship and support throughout their academic journey.

It's proof that you can still get the best resources and opportunities in a small setting!
